Any winter maps planned?

Are there any plans for creating snowy winter maps? This goes as a suggestion. I would love to see some USMC or British vs. PLA or militia maps set in snowy terrain using snow camouflage. Sorry if it has been discussed before.

I think it's worth it!! A USMC vs PLA snow map would not be at all out of place.

yeah but then that will require to reskin the color of the uniforms, armor, etc, but that would be pretty gangsta lol

Yeah I'd love to have some winter-maps. I think PoE had them, and they were great.

well...its something to work on!
remember that poll from 2004 that was brought up?
they were deciding what maps would be in pr in the future (today)
they all voted desert and urban
right now, most of our maps are desert and urban, with a few woodland maps.
what about the mountain and snow and tundra maps!
like in afghanistan?

I'm guessing since BF2v had no winter maps, unless they could be used from another BSS mod that has them a whole new set of ground textures, movement sounds, buildings, skins, objects etc would have to be made from scratch.
Would be fun to play winter but a *LOT* of work to make.

Totally agree with that.
I've seen PoE2 mod and winter maps in it, a lot of work comes with winter maps.

Oh god sniping would be so awesome on those maps! With a reskinned ghillie suit and kashan like size! Damn i would be hard to find on those kind of maps.

How friendly are the PR and PoE2 teams? Perhaps something could be negotiated so we can steal their skins in exchange for something.

Sorry mate, there are no winter maps with USMC (only Germany Vs Ukraine).
