MEC working with USMC and Brits

Forgive me if this has already been suggested, i was wondering if you could make MEC work with the USMC/Brits to fight insurgents just like in iraq
or if not MEC another army.
or another idea would be 2 different insurgents fighting each other like um sunni v shia.

lol, python has nothing to do with it. dont reply to things you dont understand....
you could make a "NATO" force or w/e then stick diffrent kits in it, with some kits looking like brits and others looking like USMC but it wouldn't work atall well, having squads being mixed up with both US and brit troops. Also having the MEC fighting the brits/USMC on some maps and then allys on anouther is not really plausible.

, about how it will mess with limited kits ,etc if we have MEC and US in the same team .

if MEC where on team 2 it would mess up the crewman stuff of the vehicles etc. but that still dont mean brits and US could not be on the same team.

yeah , i was replying to his post , were he said about MEC and US fighting insurgents , o trough that he was saying to have them in a same team .

I think the gist of what you're suggesting is to have some sort of Middle Eastern army working with the US and UK, like the Coalition during the Gulf War.

a UN troops Vs insurgents map would be great fun
Having a UN force would also open up all sorts of warzone's to the MOD.
Africa being the main example cos no one does insurgency quite like the Africans do =)

The UN wouldn't work, they're peace keepers, not peace enforcers (with one noteable exeption, which doesn't count really because 2 members of the security council were on holiday). IIRC UN forces (on "normal" RoE) are only allowed to fire in self defense and must break contact and withdraw when they come under fire as quickly as possible. This would not be fun.

Lol, imagine the confusion on the servers when people start yelling to their teammates to stop firing on the enemies and retreat because "that's what UN- troops do".

Wouldn't simply adding the ISF (Iraqi Security Forces) in be better,instead of MEC,due to ISF is seperate from MEC...NATO would be tight...I still think MEC should have the weapons they did in Vanilla BF2,but when I'm on MEC it doesn't matter...ISF with Brits. or U.S. in Basrah would also be awesome,or just them alone.Will the Iraqi flag ever be taken off the Frogfoot?
