squad leader and aircraft

I'm sure that this will of been suggested at some point but i just wanted to give my version of the idea.
We need a way to stop the flyboys being so darn hard to contact, when they are flying at a few hundred miles an hour its not really possible for them to reply to any text requests to bomb targets or to query where exactly the target is. This makes it hard for air support to really play any realistic part in the gameplay. What we need a way to talk to the pilots whether it be a new in game voice channel that only squad leaders, commanders, and players with the pilot kit can use. This however i understand would be a huge undertaking and is basically never going to happen.
The other idea would be to include a laser marker of some sort that lays a marker on the map that the pilots would be alerted to? If the laser were to be put in you would need to lay the target twice before it is sent out to the pilots because no one wants a 'marker hit the barbed wire in front of me now a bombs incoming' moment. Or maybe instead of setting it twice the commander could have to confirm it before it could be sent to the flyboys (only problem with this idea is that commanders are not always present) This would make them like the arty strikes of old but unlike the arty there would be a decent waiting time and would require a high quality of teamwork between the infantry and the pilots and the sound of the incoming aircraft would allow the target/targets to 'hit the deck' so to speak.
thats the idea
flame or agree guys =)
