it has been suggested before (by me), and yes, it is possible.

there have been loads of suggestions on this from using the gray help boxes (yes, it is possible, you can see the gray help box pop up with "menu loading" every time you hit escape), to completely eliminating QM messages altogether.

but...keep this thread up, we need it.

you can search for it all you want, but for some reason you cannot find it.

the search DOES NOT work in some cases, contrary to what you may hear. I know this because I cannot find some of the threads that I posted and know I have posted.

this would be dbzaos territory but trust me lads, he's already really busy working on 0.7 features that are going to make you all love him...

Please don't talk about things you don't understand. It's not a simple thing to do. We will be playing around with making it player-specific for v0.7, but acting like you know how to do it is ignorant.

Eh, having the text helps sometimes. Tells me to not bother trying to take some kits and just fight.

How about when someone requests a kit, it just says:
** QM ** GRENADIER KIT [1 of 5]
So, no player name and perhaps the ** QM ** can be removed too?

Instead of the current:
** QM ** xxxx, I've allocated your GRENADIER KIT [1 of 5]

I think that cuts down a decent amount of text...

How about making the QM message for Marksman and Sniper really big, so when someone requests it, everyone knows, that Mr. imatfpwnsnip0r got a sniper rifle

Or better yet, whoever requests the spec ops, sniper, or marksman kit in the later versions of PR, they CTD, hahaha
