I have to say grenadier. Long story short, I proved to an SL who called me a vanilla noob, That it was a good kit to have.

What do you think is the least respected?

Least respected, as in, no one uses the kit or because it's a "noob" kit? I'd have to say the AA kits, no one requests them. Yes, they're pretty much useless at the moment but they're awesome against infantry because of the huge splash radius.

The Chinese Grenadier kit is just carnage, scope and grenade launcher - I still remember ambushing a truck full of soldiers with it.
OGT - I positioned myself above the tunnel waiting for prey, I hear a truck nearby - it gets closer, I fire at it with my GL and see that all the passengers died, the driver gets out..another Grenade and he dies :-)

AA kit is hardly useless, its map specific - on Jabal as MEC, position yourself in one of the beaches with AA kit and you will be shooting down black hawks in no time.

Sniper, of course :p

Nah, I'd say Light AT here and there.
I know, that sometimes, you have people being constantly raped by APCs, when all they had to do, is request Light AT from the RP instead of Marksman.

I'm not talking about which kit noobs hog! I'm talking about which kit is not given credit for the job it does. I say Grenadier Because i took out 7 technicals on basrah with my grenades, Flashed a rush of civis, war vets, and ambushers rushing up the stairs of the construction site getting 50 tickets for my team, And i headshotted 2 insurgents who were chasing down a medic trying to revive my squadmate.

Unlike my SL who the whole time was yelling over the Mic for me to help him while he was trying to blow cache with nades. Killing himself in the process! I swear if i went Light AT or Heavy AT i would have been already dead.

Useless? As in shooting down a Frogfoot and a mig, one shot after the other? I prefer it over the AA vehical to be honest. And the really are awesome against infantry.

Lol i distracted an APC on that map getting it stuck in the little hole where there is no escape from and casually picked off the idiots that spawned hoping for a quick attack into US turf.(You should have seen it! I smoked him first then hit him with my M203 in the rear, The i smoked the edge of the cliff and made him fall down to his doom! Damn it was funny!)

I think the support is least requested and used I'v seen people request it on accident and just leave it their so I go and grab it and the support kit seems to be always free I think im the only one to use it.

Had some bad luck with the AA handheld weapons... I Accidently teamkilled one of our jets with those on Kashan. Not sure if it was actually locking onto a friendly or enemy jet but it did destroy the plane...

Rifleman AA without a doubt. Any pilot with half a brain can evade the missile the way the jets are set up now. More useful against heli's, but a skilled pilot would consider them a slight annoyance. L-AT is also kinda considered useless by in-experienced players who find it can't take on tanks and carries one shot, but I personally love the kit. Great for bunker busting and jeep popping, and if the birds stay still long enough it can't smack down heli's too!

Grenadier kit is one of the best. specop one of the worst, sniper probably the worst.

Whenever I request a support kit,I nearly always get [1of5] or [2of5].

But sniper is the one almost everyone uses wrong.People see it as the greatest kit. They request,if they can't get it,they try for marksman.

One guy said"OMG!I got the sniper kit!!!It's like so rare in PR!"

Greandier can be devastating when used correctly.

Least respected? Sniper.
Least used? Grenadier.

i know its not the origin question, but the kit at least respected by me is the kit that is just in the wrong place and in the wrong time.
being the 5. medic in a squad for example, assaulting a flag as a sniper, H-AT on a map without vehicles or bunkers, grenadier against insurgents, militia officer without being squadleader(means an officer is hardly searching for his kit now, muahaha), and of course not noticing what kit is needed( engineer for example, often see disorganized commanders early the day beside their bunker basements.)

^ Excellent post, Tobakfromcuba. Fully agree.

Snipers is hardly ever used with reason, so in general my least respected.
As for the AA Rifleman, its practically useless against Jets yes, and HAT is much more efficient vs Blackhawks. Still it comes in handy alot of times, when paired up. I gather its getting a boost in next version.

I'd love to see the grenadier weapon in the officer kit. It is after all a very common battlefield weapon, much more so than currently reflected in PR, and US army fireteam leaders (which is what the officer kit is - NCO level corporal or sergeant) are issued the M203.
