Climbing hills and steps

Is this BF2 problem or can the devs make it so that the player can climb steeper hills? I doubt a soldier has trouble going up an incline.

And even a small rock or ledge in the ground you have to jump over, can't we just walk over it?

Maybe you could code in those rocks or steep hills or whatever it is your struggling to climb over as invisible ladders :) then that should solve the problem.

Some kind of stairs would be easier i guess, but still way too much work.

There is a variable for step height. I wonder what would happen if this is increased dramatically.

*Imagines the resulting glitching*

Heheh, can imagine that been pretty amusing. The ladders thing isn't a bad idea, obviously not having them everywhere but certain parts of maps, such as the western hills on that China vs U.S. city map with the small helis and the construction yard (I'll remember a map name one day). Small usage of such a feature might be quite cool though, most of the time when hill climbing is a big issue theres grappling hooks anyway though.

Sunset city?

If you could fix the stepping issue, I would imagine that then bringing about more stair-kills when you try to go down, run into mid-air and fall to your death.

Yeah Sunset that's the one, come to think of it the hillsides pretty accessible anyway.

It would bring about alot of accidents, but I think they are necessary because people should be careful when their that high up anyway.
