I believe there is already a "Mine spotted" for the factions, but it's not actually used in BF2...

Mine spotted would be very useful as vehicles tend to travel too fast to stop if the mine is properly placed.
A team wide marker would be great but I don't think the engine would support it.
As it stands now, mines are underused unless it's a map like Mestia where the militia doesn't have as many vehicles and rarely travels to the southern portion of the map.

A pop-up on your 3d map would be nice for this.

Yeah a proper marker rather then a spotted would be much more useful.

yes this would be very helpful! I had to remove some of my mines twice on my last game, for my team's apc's to pass without blowing them selfs and me getting punished for their blindness...

One other thing, why don't mines go off if there's an explosion next to them? and why do they appear if a broken bridge is repaired and they were placed in it before if was blown? It's funny cause i always put mines before blowing the bridge since that way even if the other team repairs it they will still have mines to worry about.

How about a big red flag that only your team can see?

In Real Life, when soldiers spot a mine and cant take it off, they put a somekind of flage beside it, or blow it up.
Flag is good, but for some reason, we can manage to explode bridges but not mines

See ya on the battlefield
