Razor wire fix

I dont think this has been suggested before but im not sure if its possible...

couldnt the razor wire object use the claymore physics to follow the curvature of the ground? basically, have it spawn above the terrain as it does now and let it settle into place. you could use a small collision in the middle of the model to work out the angle, then keep everything else the same.

This SHOULD work well as the claymore starts as a physics object then goes to sleep, meaning it takes very little bandwidth.

The grapple hook that are thrown on razor wire needs to be fixed too... Right now you can just climb up and you will take minimal damage from the wire.

yeah the grapple is a definite problem but its usually just an issue with mapper placed wire. The grappling hook doesnt acually collide with the wire does it? or am i remembering that wrong?

Granted, my suggestion isnt an instant fix for all of the problems with the razor wire but it will at least make it alot more usefull as a commander asset (assuming anyone wants/is able to take it up as a new project, i myself wouldnt know where to begin).

I like this idea with the barbed wire, Ive seen to many floating pieces of barbed wire, and I dont mean because they landed on a gate or box etc etc, I mean theirs a small section thats floating witch gives your enemy's room to just crawl or crouch under it.

hmmm, so what now? I have a good suggestion but Im guessing noone will want to take it up as a project. I guess i could experiment a little on my own (like last time with the dirtbike) but to be honest i dont know where to begin or whether its possible.
