Razor wire fix

I dont think this has been suggested before but im not sure if its possible...
couldnt the razor wire object use the claymore physics to follow the curvature of the ground? basically, have it spawn above the terrain as it does now and let it settle into place. you could use a small collision in the middle of the model to work out the angle, then keep everything else the same.
This SHOULD work well as the claymore starts as a physics object then goes to sleep, meaning it takes very little bandwidth.
