Last night was my first true night in the Project Reality world.

I must simply say incredible piece of work to all involved.

to those i fought with and against...thank you for understanding my noob ways and also thank you to my squad mates which helped me understand the mod a bit better.

Hy, I'm also new to the forums (didn't want to open a new post) but I've been playing PR for a couple of months now. Just wanted to say I can relate to what dizzy says, the atmosphere and people playing it are generally a lot cooler then vanilla bf2. Earlier today a fellow clanmember of mine said: whats the point of playing a game that isn't ranked? What a noob How dare he judge this game without playing it! This mod kicks some serious behind!

VERY VERY true rhino...its funny too..cause i think alot of people have forgotten this key point.. my discussion with a friend about 2 weeks ago..

friend is playing rainbow six for PS3 and him and online friend doing the same level over and over again.

Me: Hey dude, why you guys doing the same level over and over again
Him: To get points so we cna get upgrades
Me: Oh cool. what kind of upgrades can you get?
Him: Well we have all the best upgrades already
Me: Oh so what are you doing?
Him:Well if my buddy gets 5000 more points he will get the blah blah blah swat armour
me: Oh cool, does it give you any bonuses?
Him: No, just looks cool...
me: oh.....

Anyway, I told him about ABR, but then here comes the funny part...basically now he told me it ain't about the ranking, it's about the unlocks soooo...devs, could you make a new unlockable model, one that looks like a bright yellow bunny with two glocks and a samurai sword? xD

No i want a pink panther ghillie unlock!! xD With dual UZIs and this l33t pr0 snip0r M85 with a modified magazine with 150 rounds !! xDD

There is a official tourniment you can join in, you dont have to be in a clan or be that experianced just know the basics and wanting to play as a proper team, you can find out more here http://tournament.realitymod.com/index.php

basicly involves 4 "teams" fighting each other, in a tourniment, its fully managed and if just in between 2 phases at the moment sign ups should start soon.

When i first bought bf2 , i only played ranked as well, but it got so boring tryn to keep stats nice & no teamwork at all in vanilla, Most only care about there kill/death ratio & dont care if the team wins or not they will lay in there "sweet spot" & rape & never go for a flag, pitiful

this mod for me was hard to like cause it was so different, im old & changing game style, rules, and how this works/kits well its just not easier when u get old but i told myself to forget everything about vanilla & i did & that helped. i do fair at this mod now, i read the manual about 5 times cause i kept forgetting where to do this & that, LOL
but awsome mod, screw stats IMO

yeah i'm very new at this too, i've played vanilla bf2 for a while bout 400 hours and PR has got me HOOKED im waiting for a graphics card to arrive so i can play at home woot! i'm zardez88 ( in case you hadn't gathered) i'm from Australia and play on GSA servers anyone else play them?

similarly I had my first 'non vanilla' night yesterday so hello all!
When I first endulged in BF2 multiplayer i also found it very hostile to begginers and nearly no tacticts needed, PR changes this so much and makes you really think about your next move,
