I think it is absolutely ridiculous when your screen gets filled up with white and orange text and people saying "OMG KICK THIS NOOB HE"S TKING N STUFF KICK HIMMMM"
there are like 4 votes out of 18 and then they just keep voting the whole round.
I have only personally seen two people ever kicked succesfully from ANY BF2 server in my life, one of them was me, and another was some other tk'er and they were both on pistol knife servers, where people actually care.

In almost any other game, players are way to far removed from each other to even care.
Lets say you are playing Mestia. If some brit dude is killing his entire team off at base, do you really care whether or not he stays for the round? I sure as hell don't, and most people don't either considering they just have to wait one minute and then rejoin

sometimes we have our crazy fits. It is no fun being banned, as when that happens, when you want to come back for honest good a month later, you can't.

so, kick voting and mutiny voting is a pointless thing that should be removed from project reality. IRL, if you have some guy that is killing friendlies, well, he's a wacko. and they don't. Its a problem in video games, the democratic system simply doesn't work. the authoritarian mode of the responsible server admin is all that separates just from injust. Nothing else can.

Most servers don't seem to have CO mutiny anymore and that is needed and can work when the commander is very bad.
But the vote option is turned off on all my screennames except AD&A so I don't even notice it.

So you only see votes when they are regarding you? How d'ya set that up? The only options I see are *ON* or *OFF*

To the voting issue, I think I remember reading somewhere that there is a bug which will repeat over and over a vote, even if the person doesn´t want to.


What annoys me is when people put up a kick vote, but don´t give a reason, or just say "OMG he is teh l33t kick!! or "all kick he accidentally TKed me onece!!!"

Can't you reduce it to one attempt at kicking someone then? The commander voting however HAS to stay, nothing more annoying then some noob-fo spawning commanders assets all over the god damn place.

Yes, it doesn't happen many times but when it happens it's annoying. The function is bad itself. There should be an option when kicking so everybody can read why the vote started was it because TK, language......
