Stats record automaticly: http://www.gloryhoundz.com/stats/

But, ranks don“t, you will need to download the ABR client and run that as you play PR every once in a while.

Should be, allow a bit of time. But, what servers have you been playing on? Only a few have ABR.

can you please expleane the ABR client to ma again, I click the link, but didn't show me anything I could do, do I need the client, or do the servers need it. I just get promoted to the same lowley rank over & over & over.

...And that is the reason it's the tightest server in PRland...they relate to Team mentality. I'm sure the TG Admin considered the mindset of the typical point/stat whore as he relates to his team > If it ain't good for me it ain't good.

Try this as squad leader some time to filter for noobs; during a flag capture and another friendly squad is capturing with your squad, before the flag turns, order your guys to move out ahead of the capture radius for outer perimeter defence. Any members that remain with the other squad for the point value are the point/stat whores and not worthy of teamplay.

Cheers TG!

P.S. I remember once being in a squad with Squad Leader Coronado when a new guy in our squad said; "ok guys I'm a sniper call out the enemies and I'll pick them off" Coronado replied; "No man you point them out for us and we will take them out" classic man!

Johnny, that's so much horsecrap and you should know that :p

Having an interest in stats doesn't make you a poor teamplayer in the same way that not giving a damn about your stats doesn't make you an excellent one.

Yes, some people are dead keen on looking at their stats solely for bragging rights.

On the other hand, some people are keen on looking at their stats so they know what areas they're strongest in, and which they're not so hot in. If you know where you're weakest you can ensure that other squadmates are strong in that area or that you work to improve them.

Aside from anything else, the new points system in 0.61 indicates quite strongly who works with the rest of their squad. People with high scores at the end of the round are worth having in your squad NEXT round, because with very few exceptions, they'll play pretty well generally.

You can now no longer do the old 0.3 / 0.4 trick of sitting 500m out with a sniper rifle and rack up long-range kills to gain massive scores.

Two players request entry into your locked squad:
One finished last round with a score of 938, 221 teamwork pts and 34:7 K :D
One finished with 400, 221, 5:27.

Which would you prefer in your squad? The guy whose teamwork score forms 55% of his score, or the guy whose teamwork score forms 23%?

I still think it's an old school gaming mindset and most likely not too realistic militarily speaking.

Personally I know my strenghts and weaknesses in game and don't need to compare myself to anyone even my own self. If I did I'd just go back to Quake3

^ that I certainly do admire.
