Time Frame

One thing I was wondering about was the timeframe of the mod. Will it be based on the present day or on the near future. If based on the near future will weapons currently not deployed but in development or beginning production be added? For example, the E/A-18 Growler, small diameter bombs, etc. Then would be the question of where to end if such weapons were added in. Especially considering how advanced some concept weapons are/were like the 60mm electromagnetic CIWS demostrator supposedly built during the early/mid 90's.
