I love the M249 because well how do i say it? It Mows down Insurgents on Basrah, Like a Weed whacker mows down hard grass. Tell me whats yours?




No i am not including the L86 nor Rpk as One is now a Dmr and the other you cant use off the technical.

L108A1 Minimi, which is basically the M249. But yeah, in PR, the M249 is the only way to go in terms of high rate of fire... Not to mention the awesome sound when you fire it

HK-MG is nice on power and has good all round accuracy. However, its not as accurate as the SAW or the PKM. The SAW has deadly accuracy but then again, its only 5.56. The QBZ-MG is kinna wack because its not very accurate in auto, lowest mag capacity and 5.56.

The PKM just PWNZ it has poor all round accuracy, but when fired from the prone position its almost pin point. That with added 7.62 make it the bizzle.

I prefer the SAW over all of the other's currently in game

Overall I like the QBB-95 due to its great handling. The HK-21 I feel is the worst since the barrel does not return to its last position since firing like all of the others.

I tend to use the vehicle mounted M2's as support if that counts >_>
as for handheld, PKM and HK21

My favorite? The M249 SAW. You may not be able to trust the bugged M16A2 but the M249 gets the job done.

249 has the nicest "owning tons of guys and ripping stuff up" sound imho

HK-21, looks sweet, and it packs a punch.
if we do have a PMC faction they should have the HK-21.

It appears that the MEC support gun is suffering from an identity crisis. In the guide and ingame it is a named a HK21E. The gun ingame however has the characteristics of the HK21 which itself has only semiautomatic and fully automatic firemodes. In order to be a HK21E there needs to be that third, three round burst trigger group. Also isn't 200 rounds magazines (x 3) of 7.62 x 51mm a little heavy for your average grunt to cart along? The gun is also damn heavy at 9.3 kg empty compared with 6.88 kg for the M249 SAW. Instead, shouldn't it have 3 x 100 round magazines like the PKM(the other big, heavy, 7.62 x 51mm gun)?

I love the SAW and the PKM. I've voted for the PKM cause i've ownd Rhino with the PKM
