I've been messing around with kit .cons and came across this:

IMO this should already be in PR b/c the dropbags are not realistic
P.S. I need a little help from a dev for Hamas pickup kits (some random **** that I can't explain to myself:mrgreen

agree , but how are you gonna say what kits is what
example: a medic kit has a m16 , but a assault kit has a m16 too, you will confuse your self

Not really, just pick it up and see, you shouldn't be able to tell, what the dead guy was carrying from 30m away anyway, IMO

It would be great if you could only pick up a gun with some ammo and rest of the equipment gets "lost". IRL you can't tell what a guy has hidden in his pockets/pouches you can usually only see the gun he was using before someone "dropped" him. And this looks a lot more realistic.

It would be even more awesoem if the weapon was lying on the side

Actually, I believe it's more believable the way it is now, unless you could code the thing so that the enemy only drops his weapon as mentioned before in this thread. As it is now, you're not only picking up his weapon, but also all the **** the guy had, and through some black magic, the training required to do CPR/have a steady hand with a precision weapon/etc.
Plus, the half buried M4 doesn't really look too good anyway...

We tried this before, but it can't have just the kit geometry replaced by a weapon geometry. This will make the model lose all the other geometry parts like pouches, backpacks, etc.

i must say it looks pretty neat without the bag
