I have to say i have never played a game with the exception of flight simulation games with such a perfect helicopter physics model :D i cant really tell the differance between this and the real thing!

WELL DONE!!!

You are so lucky to be able to fly a helicopter in real life.

I'd give anything to have that chance!

People only complain because they dont understand that flying heli's is a skill, like playing the piano. some people can and some people cant :-D

LOL i think the coolest thing i have flown is an RAF sea king, although it does feel a bit like flying a bus :s

Cant really say I've flown choppers, but I have flown Grobs... not quite the same as an f16 though ;)

They're actually like this?

mabie a little less docile, the helicopters in PR fly like theyre all chinooks. The littlebirds should be a lot more jumpey than they are but its still the closest thing ive seen in an action game.

I guess I have to believe the man.

Sweet deal, I can probably fly a Super Cobra in real life! 8-)

Hummm I was thinking they accelerated far too fast? do you really mean that choppers in r/l accelerate that fast?

Would love to hear some more feedback on how to improve them :D

What about the blackhawk's ridiculously high turning speed on the ground? In my eyes this isn't the most realistic handling out of the lot. I believe the decent rate is a little slow too. Can't helicopter's tilt their main rotor blades so they are vertical? If so then they should be able to descend like a rock.

theres not really a collective, and it's missing a lot of features. but i have to say i really enjoy flying helos in PR, much more fun than BF2. (plus people actually use the transport helos instead of spawning at the closest spawn point to the enemy.

Yeah the helo's in PR are awesome but the still need some improvement!

Just look at 1:31. Try to make that ingame and you will have a real "black" hawk. But for me almost everything is perfect except the acceleration.

^ Someone watch that program about the chinooks in Afghanistan? Where they didn't want to lose that man so the Chinook sped off leaving the Apaches in its wake...

Yeah, I saw it, they should've used a lynx, they just might have got him to hospital on time. It was kind of cool watching the choppers but at the same time brought me really down to earth when you think about the poor lad who died.
If only we could respawn in real life.

Both the Apache and the Chinook are Boeing aircraft. Neither goes faster or slower depending on the nationality of the operator :p

That's a pretty cool claim to fame.

I remember after they landed that flight they walked out of their cabin to see the back part of the chinook all covered in blood, used medical supplies and kit from the attempt to save the squaddies life and they were just a bit mind blown...
