veichles not realistic

the real helicopters have advanced tracking systems so the gunner only locks on to the target signature once fires and the missile does the rest. In pr the helicopters don't have that system. Why?
The American abrhams tank also has a target recognition system that makes it able to fire at a moving target while itself is moving and hit from up to 1000m away(this also concerns the Challenger 2). And it has a top speed of about 70 km/h. I'm not sure but it doesn't seem to be going that speed in-game.
I also feel the modders should add a start button to all viechles so u have to hit a starter button before being able to drive.

Sry for nagging, u are doing a great job but i just think changing those things in the 0.7 update would be great.

Great mod love it. Its better then normal bf2 and even 2142
(i also think its much more fun then Crysis although Crysis has better graphics)
And i know i misspelled viechles.

The 70 km/h is on flat roads, they dont calculate it on offroad terrains
And usually its in that type of terrain that you are manuvering (mispelled)
So, if you go on the internet to check tank speeds, remember that its calculated when they are on a nice flat roads. Off road is totally different.

So they should not look into adopting tools that will help them? No, I think you are just accepting laziness as the answer.

Yes! Please add the start button if that is possible. If u leave it on it will be still on when abandoned. I can already see all those vanillas running to do the solo tanking, tks everywhere, one of them finally in the tank... quiet... quiet... quiet... "This tank is broken, I cant drive" :)

a started could be a good feature, if possible, like press fire when in drivers seat, and of course a delay for it to start, maybe even a stall or 2 :)

Perhaps have to hold the button for 1.5 seconds until the engine spins up and takes over for the starter motor.

Start systems: not possible as far as the BF2 engine goes. Only warm-up times are the closest thing.

The tanks need a bit more speed and torque in them because, as of right now, they can't even climb up a 60 degree slope. In DCon, they pretty much fixed just that if not overdoing it.

If we had all these targeting systems, even if it could be implemented, it would take away the amount of work the player behind the computer has to do. It practically takes away his entire purpose of playing the game in a vehicle with a mouse. Besides that, it's more than likely to be the first shot will win if this is even done thusly, causing the player on the receiving end to come here and flame about targeting systems not being fair.

1. Wire Guided missiles are being looked into IIRC.

2. Stabilized tank turrets are not possible in the BF2 engine.
