Wouldn't it be great if...

Have you ever been playing PR and thought of a great idea that you knew was impossible with the BF2 engine? Me too
So this isn't a suggestion list, just an idea list for fun. Here's mine:
Transport Helos Controlled by Squad Leader
This would prevent choppers from being used incorrectly by either bad pilots or pilots that don't care. Here's how it would work:
a) Squad must have 4 or more people for SL to use the chopper.
b) At least 3 members of the squad (except for the SL) must be in the chopper for the SL to use the chopper.
c) SL would NOT be the pilot. The pilots would be "bots", or so to speak.
d) When SL jumps inside the chopper (in the cabin, not pilot seat - he's not pilot or copilot), he gets a map and selects where he wants the chopper to go and at what altitude. He could also plot a set of waypoints to get there (each waypoint he can change the altitude of the chopper).
e) When SL chooses the waypoints, the chopper takes off and flies exactly like he wanted.
f) When the chopper gets to destination, SL can order the chopper to land or deploy fast ropes.
g) When all troops are unloaded, chopper flies back to base and lands - waiting for the next squad leader.
h) If chopper explodes, it will respawn as normal choppers do in BF.
i) If SL dies while in chopper, chopper will turn around and head back to base unless it is within 200 meters of the waypoint in which case the chopper will land and go back to base - it will no further orders if SL dies in chopper.
---------
And that's it. So basically the idea is that you don't really need pilots in-game for transport roles. The whole point of the transport chopper is to get from point A to point B. Sure, it can be more complex than that -- that's why the squad leader would be able to set the altitude of the chopper (ie: to fly behind a mountain for example) and set waypoints for the chopper. He could also have an emergency option to turn back incase there is heavy AA fire.
It really stinks when you have to use someone in your squad to pilot a vehicle like a chopper or an APC because you want all of your infantry to help with the objective. If someone creates a separate pilot squad you can't get with them on VOIP -- plus you have to hope that they can fly (half the time they can't) and that they will take you exactly where you want to go (hard to explain exactly where you want to go in text or even VOIP).
The only reason that bullets go where your crosshair is aimed is because it is assumed that the soldier you are playing as already went through boot camp and was taught how to shoot right? It should be the same for pilots because that's their only role...
So what's your "wouldn't it be great if" idea?
