Field Hopital Tents- a building object deployed by commander that allows units to heal (when standing inside).

It's been suggested.

Doesn't really fit the game. Why hobble back for a minute or so to a tent to be healed when you could just go out in a blaze of glory and respawn in 40 seconds.

Because trying to stay alive is more realistic than seeing how many times you can "go down in a blaze of glory". I like to play PR attempting to get as many kills as I can without dying. I have finished many games with 0 deaths and a high number of kills. To me its what makes PR challenging and fun to play.

Medievac should be a big part of gameplay (as it is in a real combat environment). A "respawn every 40 seconds" mentality isn't something the real military has in mind when it comes to squad based tactics. On larger maps like Kashan Desert, you are in the middle of nowhere by yourself spreadout into thin squads.

To simply think you can just "respawn in 40 seconds" you have to consider: time it takes to travel back to position you died, time it takes to get specialty kit, time it takes to get vehicle (that may have respawn wait time such as helicopter). Its not just 40 seconds when you look at the logitistics involved in traveling, kits, and vehicles. If a commander could build tents in different places they can help people stuck defending out in middle of nowhere actually try to stay alive rather than just simply give up and quit.

Plus, I'm not guranteed my sepcialty kit will be available after I die. Take snipers for instance. If I just kill myself chances are I won't get that kit again after my "40 second respawn" I will have to sit around and wait at a supplyzone until someone dies and the kit becomes available again.

Medivacs, Field Hospitals and such has all been suggested before, I belive what they actually could think of making is a medic tent at airfields for Pilot's but thats it ?
