Remove "click to heal" feature for med pack

title says it all
it is way to cumbersome, many new players do not understand, even if you type it in full caps in their face. it is just beyond comprehension for some people. people end up bleeding to death, and not playing medic and healing others because it is too hard.
already, you can't heal yourself (not really, anyway), so it should not be a big deal.

did you just say that pressing one button is way too cumbersome and hard!?
And I guess we should also remove the crewman and pilot kits, rally points too, maybe just get rid of all the advanced features because "many new players don't understand?"
Seriously, I don't mean to offend you, but think before posting. You are asking the devs to remove a feature that makes medics work more realistic, and the only reason you have is that it's too hard to press one button.

You can heal yourself... stand up, look at your feet and then click. After you start the 'healing process' you can then walk around, kneel etc. I think it's fine the way it is, yes it's annoying when people don't know what to do and when you tell them they ignore you, but unless someone releases an anti-stupidity patch for reality that won't change.

Its fine as it is, and it gets us further away from vbf2 tactics, so keep as is.

Second poster said it the way it should be.
You shouldn't be able to ( lol ) repair multiple soldiers at once automatically, with click to heal people will have to get individual attention.
Whens the last time you ever saw a person in the medical field bandaging three people at once with two hands - I'd like to know

Keep it as it is now. One of the things a hated about 0.5 were medic orgies, bunch of gay looking dudes making love with medic bags and every singe one of them got healed without waiting in line. It was just crazy back then.

Ahem... RTFM. No pity for the vBF2 medic-superstars who can't heal a single man and too lazy to read the manual. I play a
lot with medic and the L-click healing doesn't bother me at all.

Well, the key is that neither you should move in any direction, nor your patient. You can still look around a bit, but I think this sensitivity is good to represent the difficulty of the job.

Don't complain about healing yourself - it's actually a bug that became a feature
I completely disagree with this suggestion. What's gonna be next ? Are we gonna start tossing health-packs again like in vBF2 ?

The first time I played medic, I didn't know you had to hold it, and the guy in front of me bled out. Whoops.

new players do not know what RTFM means.
and since it is labeled "guide" on the website, they look for the manual and they can't find it.
I have posted suggestions before about forcing people to read the manual before playing, but they have been ignored so i think if no one likes that idea, a better way is to simply make the game friendlier to play.
but if this idea seems bad, so be it.

The medic class (in the conventional factions) is fine as it is; no changes required IMO.

I would have thought that you couldn't now heal multiple soldiers because the heal radius has been dramatically reduced. How does the clicking do this?

and that is the jist of it, the answer: get used to it
