Question on dynamic reloading?

Is it possible? To have the reloading animation change for the weapon depending on the amount of ammunition inside the magazine? And no i'm not just talking about the sks. I'm asking because i just saw a video of FH2 with a guy who was reloading his SMLE and it would load 10 rounds(2 Stripper clips into the chamber) At all times.
Oh and i'm asking you guys because you're more knowledgable about the bf2 engine them me.

To be honest 99% of animation suggestions get shot down because the time required to get them looking really good Vs the fact that they dont influence game play...it may be a nice touch but is it worth the effort?
I think your suggest may fall into this. The Devs tend to concentrate on bringing us more content and developments to game play, which is what the majority of the community i'm sure want.

One of the first things you should think of before you open a new thread in the suggestions sections is: What does it add to the gameplay? And if your own answer is NO then you shouldn't even suggest it in the firs place

Do you mean something like shotgun reloading?

Suggesting new ambience, sounds, statics, animations etc is all good. Its suggesting something we already have.. ie re-doing an animation, that may not be favoured over doing something new.

I'm not suggesting i'm asking! WHy do you think this is in the general discussion section? To get the most exposure to my question.
I just wanna know if it's possible for a weapon in bf2 to have more then 1 reload animation. Thats all. I'm not suggesting that it be impleemented because it would'nt really add to the gameplay, I'm asking just out of general curiosity.

Incorrect. If your answer is NO to that question, you really need to go back to school and work on your basic grammer.
OP witht the different animation, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean add rounds into the magazine? I'm quite confused...

He means different animations for loading your gun. In real life you dont reload your gun in the exact same way every time.

That shotgun thing is interesting. Maybe its even possible to use the shotgun animation somehow for this. Or... not. I guess its impossible.
I'd like that, but well, i think if its not possible to use the shotgun animation for this somehow... i dont think its possible. But i understand what you mean, many new games have that. But that one second of reloading time is not so very important on longe range, so they didnt put it into the BF2 engine i guess.

Yes, i think he meant that. And maybe its possible to use the shotgun reloading animation for something like this. At least the shotgun is able to know how many rounds have been loaded already.

Why not stop speculating as to what the OP meant and let him clarify, before everyone gives their own answer to what they each individually think the question was?!
And ease off guys- it wasn't a suggestion, it was a genuine question about whether something's possible with the engine.
DavidP - I'd suggest you check out the team listings (see the ABOUT section, linky above the main forum area) and maybe private message one of the animators with your question- be sure to make it clear it's not a suggestion but a technical query.
