ops: This might not be the best first post ive ever done on a forum but whatthaheck.
If there is something i lacked in bf2 it was a wait command. You could scream MEDIC! I NEED AMMO! ENEMY SPOTTED! etc. but you couldnt scream WAIT! :d uh:
Its a simple command that could help a squad to stick together, why wasnt it in BF2

Im sure it will be put in if the lads think its a good idea. oh and welcome to the forums

Very good point. I have afew more suggestions to add to the "Q" set talk buttons as such:
- Cover me
- Squad Regroup (squad leader funtion)
and im sure there are manny others that could be put in but thats all i can think of off the top of my head

Yeah, we need more command-based macros (or wahtever they're called).
Examples:
Form up
Regroup
Clear Building
Displace
GET THE **** OUTTA HERE! (like when a T72 or BMP is moving toward you)
Go go go!
Flank left
Flank right
Suppressing fire!
Cover me
etc

Voice Commands needed in PR(MM)...
See Americas Army, BF1942.
or at least all the ones from bf42. I REALLY miss 'em. You could actually have a battlefield related conversation with em!
Ex: Go go go! Wait! enemy armor spotted! Fall back! I need anti tank support! Follow me! Stay together! Take cover! Go go go! FIRE! Roger, Alright! Area Secure!
You could literally say all of that, at the push of just a few buttons... i REALLY wish i could do that in bf2. while bf2's system is much easier to use, it is really restrictive. I wish their was the q menu, and an added thing like AA or somethign where you hit a button and it brings up a bunch of options.

That or custom type macros for typing. They wouldnt need voice but atleast text.

I know voice would definitely be more work to incorporate, but it would be nice. Sometimes I miss out on text completely because I'm too focused on the fight. Vocal commands in the q menu are hard to miss. They'd have to be strictly squad based or proximity based though, so you don't hear your other teammates yelling "Clear!" or "Wait!" or whatever from the other side of the map. That would just get confusing.
Great Idea though. I too miss the more extensive commands from BF1942

Yeah, EA's new "quick" voice comm system is actually slower.
I mean, you just had to press F(1-12) and then another F(1-12), and after a dozen games or so, you'd have 'em memorized

Also "Enemy Down" I have to type that if some of my guys are still trying to shoot at a guy on the top of a building that i shot 1min ago

But that dont show that the enemy is ontop of a building or under your feet is what hes getting at
Some ppl dont think and just look all arround them and not above/below them, and they get shot cos of it
