Stacked Teams. What can you do about it?

Lately, I've been noticing some really bad team-stacking going on, which has been irritating people on the opposing team (almost always MEC), to the point of true frustration.
Some of the newer faces I saw tonight were doing a lot of complaining. I'd mentioned that the teams were stacked in terms of skill, and a fair amount of them started chiming in about it, annoyedly.
I'm going to ask those of you whom have been in the community for a large stretch of time now to take heed. It's fun to play with people you know, because you can trust them, you work well with them, and you kick a great deal of pixelated *** when with them. However, it isn't healthy for the community, nor is it fun for two average players with four people whom just downloaded the mod to get steamrolled repeatedly over the entire length of Karkand in ten minutes.
Have heart. Take your skills and spread them out evenly if you can - it's not hard. You know when your team is stacked - if you are with 5-6 veterans and are entirely demolishing the other team as if gnats, you should try to even that out a bit. Be the bigger person, donate yourself to the enjoyment of the other team. Impress them with your amazing prowess, and organize the rabble into lean fighting machines.
You'd be suprised how eager a lot of these newer players are, if you give them a chance.

The MEC are at a dissadvantage becasue of their wepons it's not that the MEC are all noobs. every time I play the MEC are getting slaughtered and it's already been addressed in another thread and hopefuly fixed in .3

Team stacking hurts the whole mod community. "My weapons are ****" is not a valid excuse. What's so horrible about your fully-automatic assault rifles or 7.62 machine guns? Learn to fight in close quarters.

It may seem as if we stack, If that is the feeling then I am sorry. Since a number of us "VeteranS" Have been playing together we have made some pretty good teamwork! That is why you usually see us trying to stay together. Our Teamwork is what causes the "Steamrolling" effect.
I am always open to going to the underdog side and then destroying the other team. However when teams are already even in numbers its not usually appropriate.

i'd like to suggest that those that soley play U.S play on MEC for a few weeks then and see if the U.S suffer almost 80% losses. I've played both sides and the MEC are out gunned

It is a problem, and what we need is maybe AAS to also enforce a something like 2:3 US to MEC ratio. maybe 4:5, but we need more MEC guys.

really? we played mec earlier and stomped US severly. Its about teamwork and tactics not about the weapons. I can kill someone just as well with the medic AK as with the M16.
Yeah the saw does do alot of damage but thats what teamwork is about.

i agree with the first post, its horrible to play prmm for the first time against a good team.
the vets are responsible for letting this mod grow, it might sound stupid but you have to let us noobs get a foot in the door, its no fun being cannon fodder

Some of the veterans have responded here with things echoing what I put in my post.
"It's fun to play with people you know and work well with."
It sure is. However, it doesn't need to be 3-4 of you on the same team in 16 person round. Two of you could be on each team, and still have that "my squad buddy is with me" feeling. The point is, while it may be fun with you - the rounds are shorter, you end up with frustrated younger faces in the MOD getting sick of benig rolled over or having to wait a minute or two just to spawn because their entire spawn is covered, and it is generally unhealthy for the *community* overall.
I posted it due to seeing it often lately. I've seen some of the more respectable faces literally leave a team to make it uneven -just- to join their other veteran friends. That is simply silly, and should never happen.
The more people you guys expose to your honed tactics, the more people you'll have to play tactically with. We have to avoid forming these "tactics cliques" this early on in the community's life!
(( Note, none of this is bad, it's merely a reminder, or suggestion to be put to use by those whom agree. ))

One big problem too is stacked teams as a result of serverside management programs. Sometimes you can't switch and slow loaders/AFK players make it seem like there's an ok balance. When in reality that's far from the truth.

I play the team I get put on when I join the server, usually its impossible to change teams without messing up the number of players on each.
I dont see what the big deal is by getting steam rolled. It can happen to anyone. This isnt a twitch game so your skill should all be in your head. Play smart and you will do better. Having the "vets" join the other team to carry the noob slack is dumb.
I suggest you "nubs" play some single player on Expert for a while then get online and you will have a better idea on how not to get killed. New players need to remember to slow your roll, this isnt as fast paced as vanilla.

well if thats the attitude people take this mod is doomed, i think us "nubs" should be encouraged and helped not just shot at for fun.

I don't exactly agree with having better players evened out amongst the teams but at the same time it isn't very fun to get beaten constantly. The best thing for a newer player to do is play more, not necessarily in singleplayer but to get better you need to play with people who are better than you, that's how you improve. Of course the PR community should welcome new players and help them out a little with new things and different tactics that work and point out the stuff that no longer works with the different gameplay. We can't exile the new players to playing bots.
