I suggest that the strength of the Laser guided Missles be increased because the other day I was flying the SU-25 with no damage, I killed a M1A2(after 1 LGM and many cannon rounds),then I went back to look for a armored target, I saw a Bradley, and fired my LGM it hit him BROADSIDE and he still managed to fire off 3 SAMs and kill me, we killed each other.
You see, I USED to think that you should never use more than 1 LGM on a single armored target, but now im not sure. In 0.609 and 0.6, the LGMs were simple, 1 shot, 1 armor kill.
now.... I dont know, eversince the update, i saw an emediate decrease in the effectiveness of the LGMs I was using, I pass low after Ifire on off. When i got close I thought"O, i hit his front, since he's not dead, that ok, makes sense". But when I try that about........20 more times and the Armor still wont die!!!!!! theres a problem.

^^ the HAT works fine.. just dont hit the front armour.
And those lazer rockets are flippin deadly... 1 lazer and a quick cannon strafe and any tank will go down. AAV & APC always go down with one good hit.. if you attack at the correct angle. The angle you attack is very important.
I'd suggest some practice on Single Player... download the Kashan Desert single player and have some practice.

APCs take two light AT rockets to kill. I am fairly certain that there is no variable damage on APCs, and that no matter where you hit it, it will always take the same amount of damage.

Wrong.
Backside and the underside are the weakest, front is the strongest and the side is in between. Just because one shot from L-AT makes any APC starting to smoke, doesn't mean it deals the same amount of damage.

AFAIK LGM's kill tanks in one hit in 0.61...

that should be changed , lavs25s and brts cant stand a single shot from a LAT IRL to the saide , there is no way that the crew will survie a hit to the sides .

Yeah, and AT4 shot to any of the apc's back would kill all occupants irl... but this isn't possible to code is it?

maybe , but that can be solve with reducing the life pints of the APC to make them more vulnerable to rpgs .

its not supposed to be "1 LGM and a quick cannon strafe" in real life, a quick strafe would kill a tank, so, 1LGM would be unneeded. Yet somehow, the real life LGMs are more powerful than these guided LATs

What experience do you have with shooting APCs with AT rounds, exactly?
Also, one LGM will usually kill a tank, and on the rare occasions it doesn't it will certainly almost cripple it. There's no harm in firing a LGM *and* a few rounds from the cannon as well, to be sure.
Anyways, air combat and associated aspects (AAMs etc) will be getting looked at for .7, I believe. Hold on in there and see what comes of the next update, is my advice.

a while ago on Ejod a APC went right past as i spawned on the squad rally point, i grabbed a LAT, shot it once in the back doors and it was history.
the LGM NEVER kills a tank, it needs a strafing run with a LGM, i know, im a pilot, an A-10 pilot,it feels awkward to run on the ground(i never play on ground in Kashan). And in 0.6 (norm and Beta) 1 LGM did the trick, but now.........

The A10 cannon would immobilize, render useless, and kill the crew of any armored vehicle known to man.
An LGM would certainly render it useless and most likely immobilize it, although the crew may live (Case in point Desert Storm where an M1A1 was hit with repeated Maverick and Hellfire LGM and SABOT rounds from other M1A1s in an effort to destroy it and the crew compartment was pristine afterwards.)

A10 bullets cant penetrate the armor of tanks , they arent bigger than APC rounds .
and i hear of that myth of the m1a1 before , that it was hited with "sevelars" (most likely 1) ATGM and it was still intact , but never confirm it with source .
and im still thinking that LAT rounds should make more damage to APCs

The apc will die from 1 LAT to the back doors, it will be set on fire and blow up in 10 seconds or so. 2 should do it otherwise.
The Apache Hellfire is a 1 hit kill on anything moving and 2 for bridges.
The only bug Ive seen is on Mestia where an APC can run across 1 or more land mines and only sustain minimum damage so long as it was travelling at high speed

I'm sure that's quite comforting for the families of servicemen, enemy combatants and civillians who all feel their health has been endangered by the use of DU rounds
