I was on a server today (forgot which map, it was the one with the carrier and transport choppers), anyway i requested anti air kit for the first time, so i got my stinger waited in the dunes for about 10 minutes then when choppers finally come i wait for lock, fire and my missile just goes in a straight line,and doesnt even try to follow the chopper.

You have to wait longer..
Even because you have a lock TONE does not mean the missile is completely locked on

AFAIK, you aren't supposed to hear the lock-on tone, when aiming the MANPAD

It used to do that alot in 0.5 basra (only map where it was used).
you should change weapons after re-load
