I know that C.o.D.4 C-130 mission, but as you see he can switch white hot or black hot, and he just seen thermal signature, i'm asking if that feature is possible whit the engine using Project Reality cause it would be a Freaking nice add-on on Combat helicopter (BY EXEMPLE) or any ground men controled UAV or Recon chopper, anyway... its just a question, its may be "source coded" or just impossible to done whit that engine.

It might very well be possible to imitate the visuals of thermal vision although not guaranteeing everything will look correct.

Does that answer your question?

the "thermal camera" is really just a model coloring device. The thing is you have to program it to show different colors for everything that is supposed to be hot so it will show tanks as hot even though their standing still in the middle of the antarctic.

Actually, a functioning tank in the middle of the antarctic would stand out pretty well with thermal imaging :P

While there are Certan Weapon systems under development that are experimenting with EEF tracking, they are still rather far out.

I'm pretty sure that was Vaiski. (one of the devs)
But IIRC he said that it doesn't work well or that it can't really be used because of something. Or something like that, search through his posts if you want a better explanation.

If the tank is at sun all the day it will take heat from sun... more than ice and it will come out welly good... WHY did you think Saddam Hussein burn all that fuel in 1st Gulf War...
