I know this is gonna be the baddest idea ever but i would like to introduce the idea:

Down the bomb map...


Ok i had this idea by:

Iraqis try to get a bomb inside america... it could be a map with a train station or ships or something and USMC have to stop them by doing it... Could be a night map and no vehicles beside some cars and Humwees... That would be a infantry map. Each class is available... with 2 USMC spawn points and 1 MEC spawn point... 3 other flags under MEC control you have to defend it by holding the USMC flag... and trying to get all other MEC flags...

mmh thanks guys but im not a moddler or something im just a gamer hehe... So i think the thread can be locked... But not its not CSS style... CSS and CS 1.6 are simply gay... no realistic gay graphic etc... I just have remember some news about Iraqi war etc...

anyway, the idea may be okay for some other game, but Project Reality is... nah, doesnt fit.

There ARE good games about terrorism, not everything has to be as bad as counter strike, but well, like i said, PR is not this kind of game.

I think its hard coded but ask a Dev and he can be sure.

Imo the point aint the realism, its the kind of gameplay, that is not the PR way of gameplay ímo.

so how exactly is a map based on the united states hardcoded?

Yeah that made no sense.

Anyhow, I think the map idea is pretty good, although it seems more suited to vanilla run and gun than PR.

It is near future but the US has the worldest largest navy and air force. They are also far more technologically advanced than any other faction. So you are saying its realistic that after the MEC troops had made it past the USA's high tech radar systems, then take on they're naval fleets with support from all manner of Air support, you're suggesting they then try and sneak past some infantry and a few humvees and plant a bomb? PR is about big battles, not l33t spec ops creeping around, it just doesn't fit with the game ethic.

Oh and I wouldn't say jonny bashes suggestions, he's pretty respected around this community and most of his reasons are backed up with a wealth of knowledge.

i belive if if the terrorist's tried to sneak explosives into america it would be dealth with by CIS,FBI and other investigations units

Olsson I gotta agree with you. More likely to be feds than military as it would more than likely be a terrorist group than a foreign army that tried to bomb the US. Seems an unfeasable map to me...

Previous suggestion. Please search. Invading US maps are on the list, clearly. Locked.

And please choose a little more descriptive title. Everyone fails at this. You know how many threads are titled "My Idea" "My Map Idea" "Wouldnt it be cool if..."

Give it a freakin' name people! All of you! Its ridiculous. Threads without a decent name are like spam ads that just make you want to click them and then get really annoyed that it didnt tell you what it was about in the first place.
