Ive played POE2 latley, and i suggest that there be a DDX Destroyer for the USMC/UKMC/Canadian Army/US Army
I cant find a picture, but its big, and it has a Tomahawk launcher with 2 deck guns in the front, it also can hold a AAVP in the rear

PS, i didnt see it under prev suggested so.......

That's a link for an AAVP. Which has already been suggested. Which are you suggesting, the destroyer, or the AAVP?

I'm glad to see there's a new suggestion from Neutron everyday but I hardly believe P.R needs any naval element. UKMC?
I know this is not Project Balance but it is an issue even with the most realistic games. Giving all allied teams destroyers wold be lame. It's not just about balance, its about keeping feet on the ground

What about something smaller than a destroyer but still larger than a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat)?

All naval craft imaginable have been suggested by now as far as I'm aware. It's very much in the developers hands whether they're added, and those that want to model, skin and code the bloody things if they are.

I don't think Cruisers have been suggested.
Even if the developers were to put a working US or UK destroyer in PR, it is a low priority right now. However, community members like ourselves are free to make the model.

Rhino said that naval combat isn't going to happen, so I doubt it.

basically big objects + moving = everything explodes

Yup, and anything of a smaller nature, a bit +/- PT boat kinda size has definitely been mentioned. Can't remember why the team isn't interested in those but there probably good reason.

If by explode, you mean lags to death then yeah, everything explodes.
And please stop suggesting things merely
slightly different from the 10000 other threads on naval units/statics.

one big reason why larger naval units like destroyers and cruisers are not getting implemented is due to the way these ships wage war in real life. IRL a cruiser is about 500 miles from the target it intends to hit with a cruise missile like a bunker, and ship to ship warfare is basically the same way. so basically until we get maps that are in the 500 mile or more range its not gonna happen

Naval combat is almost non-existent now. Sure, they're used for transport, but its not like a tank where you take it into the city and clear out enemies. Besides, PR doesn't need any more boats.

If this is what your talking about then heck I can model one in an hour.

Will not really, but still pretty easy to model.

Yup, and as the site points out, those craft are all owned by SOCOM - special forces. PR is increasingly and ever-more shifting towards large-scale conflicts by conventional armies (or at least, conventional armies against unconventional uprisings), and spec-ops style insertions from diddly boats isn't exactly what that's about...
