I miss Mashturr City

Oh do I remember the old days of .4 ( or was it .3 ) when we had mashturr and mashturr night maps...
Oh the good old days of AASv1, and the US silenced marksman-ish sniper rifle...
I wish we had a map like mashturr city with its giant overlooking bridge and the old LB transport - even though now it would be hell to play due to the other improvements!
The night version which was rarely seen was just plain awesome, I love night maps

In case you didn't know Rhino has been working on Mashtur City v2.0 for quite some time now. It looks 2x better than V1.0. Maybe someone can post a vid, I know theres one around.

Muttrah City isn't it? Mashtuur is the vBF2 map.

I think we need the Night Maps back though, they were very fun, and theres just something about night vision and hunting in a squad that makes it so incredible.

Mashtur was my fav. for vBF2. It worked ok for PR then.
The Night version was too buggy, though. Alot of people CTD'd of it.

It used to be fun.. but thats the past... used to love the Scenario mode on this map. Crashing littlebirds full of C4 into the 'assets'. hehe

I used to get all sort of textures appearing and disappearing on the old night maps. Horrible to play.

Yeah! I wonder where the good old times are right now... want 'em back so bad! That nice Muttrah Feeling, all those LBs. I don't know but this PR is totally different today... don't even know why the PR team put out the best map ever in .6? Didn't you guys know that we loved it?? xD
Hope Muttrah v2 will kick asses

muttrah 1 was removed because, the maps gameplay was just simply bad with the current changes like RPs, warmup times and a few other factors.
back to the OP, Mashtur was intresting in PR as when i played the map in PR i found so many new locations routes and so on that i never knew of in "nilla" so yes PR gives a diffrent perspective to new maps! wich was intresting...
as for night maps iv only tried Bi ming...

Hah I sense sarcasm over the internet..
I miss the black van, I wish it would return as a "joke vehicle" on a non-extraction map

AASv1= one flag to attack and one flag to defend.
AASv2= can have more then 1 flag to defend and attack at the same time.
so basicly AASv2 is set for multiple objectivs, ussulay meaning that you have to defend or attack more then 1 flag at the time, but this is not allways the case
