I have no idea, it was so long ago!!!!

I joined early 0.4. Played it quite a while.. and then 0.5 got announced. I was thrilled! All the new possibilities, teh awesomeness ELEVEN!!1111!!!!11!

Can someone please change the thread title? It's pretty messed up

i think i joined just before the realse of .3, some time near the end of the .2 era.

Which release is the one before 0.1?

0.1 beta?
0.1 alpha?
0.09 final?

I think i once had something before 0.5 but i didnt seriously play it. I started when i heared about the 0.5 i think, so its most likely bosco's fault^^ But i didnt play for weeks now... focused on SWAT4 again.

well i tryed it in .5 but i was such a bf2v noob that i couldnt even find out how to get kits so i left then i came back in .6 and now i can play kinda good.

0.3 ----> loooooooong brake -> found my BF2 disc -----------> 0.61

It was 0.5 I think (March or April 2007)

0.2 - hated it, for an experienced BF2 player, it was like easymode. Point click kill rinse repeat on Karkand and Mashtuur.
0.4 redeemed the mod and elevated it to best teamplay game I've ever played

I started playing in 0.5 and i will nerver go back to vanilla, and its kill me not being able to play atm because of my PC has Sh!t itself

Started playing during 0.3, but I first tried the mod during 0.2.

I joined 0.4 then 0.5 came out a couple of days later..

It makes sense to have 0.5 as the most popular because of the awesome promo video for it.

I first started in 0.3. Even just AAS and deadlier weapons was such a massive improvement over vBF2. Karkand 64 was a lot of fun, I remember a lot of cool fights around the bridge.

I flew for 2 years or so in vanilla. Crappy missiles and weak bombs pissed me off to the hereafter. Someone told me about PR and I joined right away. The planes and missiles weren't done at the time so I took the UH-60 (0.5 miniguns... ugh), the F-18 and F-16 were still in their vanilla state so that was interesting. And 0.6 was better with Kashan, but there's still a noticeable lack of combined arms maps. Hopefully more in 0.7.

0.32!!! tried it, started playing fully in 0.4

ah, the good old 0.2 days...i remember back then when i saw the trailer (which still rocks!) and was amazed - and not let down by the mod itself
back then, there were about two or three populated servers, and well, you basically knew everyone (not really, but you get my point).
one thing that i actually miss, is the simplicty - you still had that reality feeling, which of course was closely tied to the teamwork, and with such a small player base it was nearly guaranteed - but you didn´t have to care about lots of other stuff like limited kits, where to attack and so on ^_^
