No smoking please

Currently when you put a marker down (move, attack defend etc.) you get a nice viewpoint on the screen and some billowing smoke for where you have to go.
How about no range marker and no smoke showing where you must go, just the waypoint on your GPS. Unless you have the gold edition I dont think the garmin does laser range finding anf targetted smoke dispensing
If perhaps the sniper kit gets given the soflam so he can get his own range (people often use move markers to give sharpshooters a range)

things like this can make a HUGE difference in PR simply by not knowing exactly wheere your friends are will make the battlefield hugely more realistic.
Movement will need to be coordinated by the SL because he wont know exactly where all his men are. Vehicle extractions will need to be conducted properly because now you wouldnt be able to so easily see everyone that's on the map and the pinpoint location of every vehicle.
I guess I'm just after the coolness of when Im skirting the trees in OGT and I see the green smoke coming from a gap (not yellow or purple, but greeeen
) and I hover over and theres the whole squad, awaiting evac.
At the moment weve got yellow smoke thats invisible to the enemy, I'll land the sl will get in and Ill wait while half the squad jogs over the map to me, because we dont need to work with the team because we can see where everything is and decide ourselves.
Remove the smoke and the friendly position markers. Chopper comes in for extraction, good players and eager n00bs all climb aboard and get in. Uber cool smacktard gets left behind because he dosnt know where we all went while he was ramboing, deep satisfaction as he satisfies his CS urges on a jungle jog
