Yes, this is what you've all been waiting for. Your hope and joy for PR's future. Screw all the new maps and factions and vehicles. All down to you and your rifle. You and your beloved M16 which was nerfed by the British devs in 0.6. Well, here it is in all its glory. This was a joint effort from me, qwerty4030, and vaiski.

Holy mother of God, that is beautiful!
EDIT: The ACOG on the M16 seems a little buggered, though... Might just have been placed wrong (a little too far to the right) on the model...

The decision against foregrips was necessary. We would've loved to include them, but they are not used ALL the time and there's a lot of extra work in putting them in. A lot of our reference pictures are exactly how they are pictured in the render.

So it will be ACOG only, then, I suppose? No other extras?

One little thing that is missing is below the foxtail, there is a little nipple like thing that you can put in. When the weapon is out of ammo, it moves in and the foxtail sticks out so that when you finish putting another magazine in, all you have to do is tap the foxtail and the weapon will automatically be loaded. Ain't a big deal though.

It probably is there, but it blends in because of the unfinished texture + 100% self illumination.
