hey, i quite like the colours and layout of hte site. one thing that bugs me is the shadows under the block headings at the side. makes it hard to focus on the letters. also, try using courier new as your standard font, i think the whole site has a sort of military document feel to it that a typewriter style font would lend itself to. its nice though. good luck building your community. thats the key to surviving. (coming from someone who has been an admin on a forum for 6 years!)

Is that Ads that are trying to pop up on my computer?

Its probably better to go for text ads than popup ads.
