bleeding trauma

ok im guessing this has already been suggested cuz it seems so obvious but i did search and look in that thread with the "already suggested" stuff.
anyways, heres a scenario. im prone and hiding behind some bushes, but a sniper gets me in the leg and im bleeding and probably will die within a minute, so i get up and sprint around franctically searching for a medic.
in real life i prob wouldnt move as it would be the "healthiest" thing to do. running around while bleeding profusely is a bad idea, but its what i see alot of people do, so i suggest taking off alot more health for running around while bleeding.

Like it a lot, It would add so much to feel like you need to stay still and wait for your medic. I once suggested forcing prone or crouch if youre shot in the leg, but I dno if it can be coded.
How about making health deplete faster if someone trys to sprint?

Afaik you can't run while bleeding, only walk. Dunno if its any slower to represent dragging your'self along injured kinda thing, but i doubt it as you can only have 2 speeds per stance i think.
But yeah, a slight increase in damage to represent exacerbating the injury could be a good idea.

I agree, bleeding all over the place has never been good for my footwork. I think that the devs have already made some comments about changes in the way bleeding out will work in .7, I just am far too lazy to track down what they said.
Anyhow, I think its a good idea, as I would not be getting any better by running around on a shattered fibula.

Good idea! Injured guys sometimes run around the medic as poisoned rats, while coughing up blood. But instead of speeding up bleeding, I'd suggest slowing it down when prone.

I support this idea, if you are bleeding you need to be "suppressed" more so...
I understand when you are *very* low HP you can not sprint, but something to keep you from not moving either one of the earlier suggested.
A. Less running while bleeding - or causing bleeding to be worse or
B. Being prone causes less bleeding.. or not moving?

We need to at least be slowed to a crawl while low on health. (i.e. can't stand up) America's Army didn't give this system much thought in their game. Get shot, subtract health, slower running, and you can't aim for beans.
I want to at least cripple someone so they can't simply sprint into a building, throw down a field pack, and continue to call for a medic while trying to shoot my team and I at the same time.

Actually you can only have 4 speeds total. One each for:
Sprint
Standing
Crouching
Prone

What is that supposed to mean? Finishing people off is possible w/ the BF2 engine.

i like this idea alot. in real life generally if you get shot anywhere your not gonna be moving much your gonna be crawling at best, they should simulate that in pr. you get shot and its not fatal? your not running or walking. your crawling {prone} until a medic helps you out. we all know it would be a HUGE pain in the *** to only be able to crawl while your bleeding, which would make the medic very important and bring new life to the class. i like it alot.
