static RPK

i dont know what basrah is gonna be like in version .7, or any insurgent maps for that matter but i would really like to see the return of the static RPK from vanilla bf2 to provide some defences for the insurgents. i think a real good place for one would be at the windows in one of the enterable buildings overlooking a road. it would be cool to pin down a squad with one.
i know the devs are against putting the rpk back in the game for some reason but maybe a static isnt asking too much? it would look better than a static SAW for the insurgents and its not like it needs to be modelled its already in the game. hell even milita could use it too.
