New kit idea to bring back claymore and improve sniper teamwork.

I know that alot of people want the claymores to come back into PR. The debate about it is where they should pu it. I was thinking about trying to somehow improve the usage of the sniper in the proper way. My solution was a spotter type of kit. It would be requestable and it would contain regular M16, binoculars/soflam, ghillie suit (not needed but seems a little more realistic), smoke grenade, and claymores. It would improve the use of the sniper from the lonewolf type kit to the realistic two man sniper teams. If a player does lonewolf, it's thier lose because they are loosing the advantage of an extra set of eyes and the protection of claymore. The only thing i can't decide on is tripwire claymores or remote detonated. What are your thoughts?

spotters have been request again and again, your best bet is to have a squad, with a sniper and officer, the SL can put down move markers which can be used to calculate bullet drop etc. and the soflam can be used for spotting.

also in my opinion using the words sniper and teamwork in the same sentence is an oxymoron.

Doesn't this distract the SL from doing his designated job as a squad leader. I wanted a kit whose job is to work with the sniper and help him be useful to the squad.

A sniper squad ideally has a Sniper and a spotter.

Actually you get best results as a 3 man squad. 1 sniper, 1 Rifleman(Spotter), And 1 medic(backup) Believe me man it works like a charm all the time.(Oh and Militia is a bit different since they require a 4 man squad. 1 Officer(Main sniper), 1 Mosin sniper(Backup sniper), 1 Militant(Spotter/Backup), and 1 medic(Spotter/Backup) or you could jsut lone wolf with the mosin. Insurgents are also different because it's usually just 1 mosin sniper and 1 svd sniper)

Snipers are already fairly easy to spot and kill, adding another person to be near him would only make it easier to spot him.
On another engine where grass renders all the way and people don't stick out like a sore thumb at 500 meters, then maybe..
Don't think there's a need for a spotter for current PR. If you have a sniper kit it's already fairly easy to spot people.

any kit will make a great spotter. Only thing you need is binocs and an assault rifle.
