I love BFV and would love to see a pr version with all the weapons but acuratly done with the orininal maps (possibly expanded on) any on like this idea??

there is allready a mod for Vietnam conflict ill go look for a link for your. But i think its best if these guys keep on working on this mod so we can get it sooner

To raise a valid point from this topic, if we were to do a moden conflict as a side story, what would you all suggest? Preferably nothing middle east, but something innovative and new?

May be Rude to try and copy POE2, otherwise Russia would have been given a huge thumbs up. It's very hard to try and find a conflict large enough to bring in the US, MEC, UK and China in!

well, i like the idea of PRv, but i agree with 1 project at a time. perhaps after the mod is released.

POE2 has a diffrent plot. POE has Russians against the US though doesn't it? Why not go the other way. China could try to invade into Russia for the vast untapped natural resources and in response the US and England help the Russians out. This could also be something that extends easily into the Southpacific (after China invades Taiwan) and into Korea as well as Vietnam (China and Vietnam would be allies). Forgive me if this sounds a bit familiar, it is roughly based on a Tom Clancy novel (but a very good one!). But either way, with something like that it would really become a global conflict and as the mod progresses I'm sure, with this being an international mod, our friends around Europe as well as the rest of the world would like to see their countries in action.
Just a few thoughts.

SCCT: NK vs SK, Japan, US, Britain, etc.
And if you want a BF2 Vietnam mod, wait for EOD, its mod for BFV was much more realistic than BFV it self.

Blue dragon i like the idea but the USA is kind of hard to invade as it is so far from any where.

No one has ever done a mod where the US got invaded. Now i dont know if its a feasible idea in real life, but something along the lines of MEC and PLA ( China) form a alliance, maybe with several other smaller nations. Possible reasons for invasion could be the US stays in Iraq too long to try and control the worlds supply of oil and China and the MEC team up to fight back with many smaller nations who could be added later if needed. Then the Brits could be added to help US and we could have maps with face offs between the US/Brit forces, and China/Mec forces. The unlock feature could be used to select the different kits for each side. As in one assualt kit would be US assault, the other unlock would be Brit assault. Of course you wouldnt have to actually unlock the ability to use the Brits with the rank, or would you? this might be a fun idea, but hard to implement for both sides.
But then we could have maps based on any land type or terrain type imaginable as fights could take place in American citys, small towns, farmlands, or anything else, also places in the UK or Europe tpye terrains, or middle east or Chinese, or Pacific Island type maps.
