All the noobs and smacktards are gone! All of them are in FH2 fighting over sniper kits and field dressings! Woot! I've been able to have my first decent game without a kid abusing the m82 on basrah, Or People asking me how to get svd on mestia!

Quick lets play while they're away!

Don't forget to mention about TK's for tank or artillery ;)

well.. to be honest I haven't seen a difference in player skill. Player amounts yes, but not skill. :/

The lull before the storm. When the next build comes out, some of the crucial changes that get advertised far and wide in staff media (text and video) are most likely to draw in a serious amount of players, more than any other build before I think.

And after everyone tries it only the real players will continue to play it!

That's what's great about this mod... it automatically selects it's players by forcing a simple structure of rules that will define the gameplay intended, in wich only a certain group of players will comply. The rest will eventually move on to a new game or mod and i'm sure we won't miss most of them.

Teamwork Redefined ;)

FH2 = Fail, unless you love tanks, then it's great.

It has good objects and stuff but when will more mod groups realize that GAMEPLAY > Pretty objects. After all this time and FH2 is not engaging like PR, whats even more irritating is that FH2 POE2 have DEV teams full of talent to make all the objects while PR could use more of these people. It's like they all flock to those mods becuase of hype and make all the cool stuff but the gameplay sucks.

Yea you are right!
I was verry happy about the release of this mod, but now im mor or less disappointed since this is a mod like most of the other ones. I don't know the effect that FH2 will have on the numer of players playing PR but i think that it won't change that much.
An mybe some of the kiddies go to FH2 to drive in Tanks an fight for sniperrifels an stuff... :D

I think FH2 was disappointing because I thought it would be a very immersive game like the first one. It all looks spectacular and the maps are very well designed and dynamic but it reminded me of PoE but the with the clock wound back.

Exactly! It's like...Survival of the fittest. Only the players that really enjoy slow paced team oriented game play are the ones who will stay. That leaves a solid group of well-known players. Its GREAT!

FH2 is just good for a lil fun. i personally play it for a round or two and get bored of it. but PR, never. it never gets boring. all the teamwork nd tactics we use in PR, not a single one of em are used in FH2, ppl barely even use voip. overall, FH2 is like vanilla BF2 with some new stuff.

Amen folk who lock themelves in tight lil quads and dont let any common folk in ar3e as equal to blame as smacktards. n00bs can be easily taught how to play and if they carry on being a twat, that makes them a smacktard and admins should be removing smacktards. along with "teamplayers" who wont play with the team

I don't see why everyone's bashing on FH2, I was in a round yesterday and it pushed being the best time I've have in a mob period. I had a sniper kit and 2 of my squadmates were on 87mm arty cannons. I would spot a target and these guys were damn good, they could have shells falling right on within 10-15 seconds. We decimated enemy armor and infantry and the next round we played El Alamein and the whole 6 man squad got armor and we moved as a unit across the map, and had a couple of extras, punched a hole right through the British lines and won. Was really fun. I know the mod is kinda unreal in parts and it is full of smacktards to a extent but don't complain about the mod, it's probably the best job I've seen on a mod since FH for 1942, the FH team put a lot of detail in the game especially in the tanks and interfaces of everything. The planes cockpits are unbelievably detailed and clean looking so I'm actually really impressed by the mod and it does a good job making a bigger than just you experience to me.

What is with all the Elitism going on?

FH2 is no Different from FH1, just a new engine, and that's what the mod team aimed for. How can anyone compare vanilla BF2 to FH2? I've seen devs on here take the right route, apples to oranges. The Forgotten Hope Devs did not say, "Hey lets take Project Reality and turn it into World War 2." They didn't need to they already had a huge release and fanbase larger then PR. So basicaly... Forgotten Hope 2 does not aim to be Project Reality: WW2 get that out of your heads.

Player Bashing... quite simply there are "smacktards", "noobs" and as my great friend Crow use to say "People just looking for Instant Gratification" in every mod, game, porn chat room... I.E. Why you can never get a Sniper Rifle, Marksman, or Aircraft with a Pilot fired Weapon on it without finding a line. And don't use the "Well they have to be in a squad to get those kits, so it encourages Teamwo" Thats just plain Merde and you know it. Just becasue they are in a Squad doesn't mean they are going to be with your squad. Face it the General Consensus is that EVERYONE wants something Shiny, has a high-powered scope on it, or goes boom. Thats why only a small margin of players in PR actually play with the Medic Role and not if they find a sniper rifle on the ground oh no...

They (FH), in my oppinion, did what any dev would wish for, a very minimal bug free release, with a lot of content when you think about the fact that they didn't really have a whole lot of Vanilla BF2 content. As for the constant threads bashing FH2 mod and people who play it is pretty rediculous. Instead of bashing and saying "What I've learned from this are smacktards are gone...." you should be saying "What I learned from FH2 is Prone with Bipods they have set up is awesome, or the Commander has to be at a station to use his assests is cool, ect, ect..."

As for the community comments about, "Well they get Better/More/Partially Nude Devs" that's kind've an insult to your own Devs. These guys have done a great job as a Core team sticking together this long and releasing alot of great quality content. And not only that they have a great community to help pitch in with modding.

As a Vet of PR, and a old BF42 Realism Mini-Mod Dev
My best advice to the community is to Play FH2 and say hey this would be really coold if PR did something with this...

crack just dont download torrent try another. bUt for everyon FH2 is a great mod to play with a TW squad and if you know the right servers(My sig on weekends)it will always have a great group of people in it. You all might not have the same thing but i can go on any server with up to 10 ORC members and have TW and VOIP all night. Find a group of people you like and go on a server and play. You will enjoy it. Only smacktard from PR that I have seen was Viper5. He got owned by a misfire from my 88mm :D

Ditto. Quit the elitism guys. It gets old. FH2 ISNT A REALISM MOD. It aims for Historical Accuracy and fun with a few pieces of realism thrown in as the frosting.
