I have just had anouther **** BF2 match where the other team was a buch of bunnyhopping noobtubers. Im really sick of all this shit that goes on in BF2.

If you mod carrys on the way it is. I wouldnt be suprised manny clans will treat your mod as a "BF2 ProJam" version. I know it takes much more skill to play your mini mod and teamwork, which BF2 should be all about.

Just make sure you make your mod "Clan Friendly" so that clans can easily play it and this mod will encorrage more clans to play it.

Thxs for making this mod as good as it is at the mo but when making it allways consider that clans will be playing this as a clan in the future ;-)

I'm not so sure...

I mean, I know the teams could use a little tweaking on the balance but still I think it's already way better than vanilla BF2 and I'm not the only one who thinks so. Why couldn't a clan think so too?

I like the mod myself, I had to reinstall bf2 though for some wierd reason though, and haven't reinstalled it yet. But that is a good idea, the only problem I have w.it is that you can;t see if you killed the person or if someone else w.out pressin tab everytime I shoot someone.

Also, I do like "vannila" bf2 alot too, my clan is sorta stunt related too though, so half of our clan likes i guess what u might call an extra scoop of vanilla on top of it. :D lol

But I think more clans would do it if it was a full mod and also, is this mod able to be on officially ranked servers, instead of Gloryhoundz alternate ranking system?

yes for sure it is better, but if you lookhere you can see about 10 server, the maximum server i ever count was 14.
the most used is "GloryHoundz".
i can not use this one it gave me a ping over 150 and i did not play if it goes over 100.
next one is "PRMM/AAS/FpsFocus.com/SWE/AllMaps" where i today online from 22:00 until now ALONE.
one guy comes in, says hello and leaves.
"Russian Reality BF2 (ABR/PRMM/AAS)" gave me a high ping too, so that i could not use em :-(
Sometimes the "RDLS" clan server is up, it is a german server so it gaves me a ping from about 50 or less. the other servers in that list are less or more empty since i monitore them.
what i will say with this is, that this mod has to convince more people than the bounch of people right now.

it could convince with balanced teams, balanced weapons, balanced vehicles AND MAPS WHICH ARE EQUAL ON EVERY SERVER.
on one server you have armor on that map on the other not, no League will choose this mod if this is not standardized. i as clan leader would not choose it in it´s current state, bunnyhopping dolphindiving or not. from the view as player i can hardly live with this, from the point of clanleader a clearly "no go".

please forgive me for the next clause but right now my heart is talking :-|
look at EA, everybody (including me) is shouting them "fix the game first until releasing booster paks" but if you look here it is the same.
weapons are not balanced but who cares. it is more important to post new render pics than fixing things that are realy frustrating for MEC/CHINA players and easy to fix.

We are fixing the weapon balance atm, but we are also producing models at the same time. Everthing is going at a steady pace, the MEC will become just as good as the other teams eventually, so no need to fret there.

That is a good point. Can you still see who killed who in the demos? As clan matches are allways recoarded and if you cant see who killed who on a demo then this mod would be usless for propper clan ladders... :cry:

But yes, the sides unblanced dosent make that so bad for clans. As you have to play 1 round on USMC and 1 round on MEC then you add up both round tickets and then you find out which was the better team ;-)

Thats just stupid, the average and perfectly acceptable ping for games is around 120-140, I get around 160 on the GH server and it doesnt really affect me, I normaly end the round in the top 5.

I play all my games with 120ping. Its only when it gets above 300ping you get lag from ping. I play all my clan games and most of my games with 120ping and at the top of most servers, espicaly the PRMM 1s :lol:

Well, yes, the full mod will definetely attract more people than the mini-mod. Shiny new models always get people interested.
Unfortunately no mod is able to use the official ranking system. Why? Well, you could create a mod specially designed for raking in points quickly and use that to get higer ranks fast.

sorry to say, but you are talking bullshit man.
the perfect ping for games depends on the game. if the netcode is well done the range of acceptable ping is a bit higher.
bf2 code it not bad but it has still it´s limit. if you have ever played on a lan you will know how much better this is.
you can try playing with the bots and after that go online seek a high pinger and play there. if you than do not feel the difference than i don´t know. the most difference you will notice in close dogfights.

b4 i tried PRMM i only played on euro low pink ranked server, this was the first difference i noticed when i started playing on GH. the lag is gruesome. maybe i speak only for myself but me as german with ISP Arcor (leased German Telekom lines) fastpath enabled can not play with fun GH.

I'm afraid I'll have to agree here. Gloryhounds is playable for me, but especially when I turn a corner and find an enemy waiting right behind it I get lag and death.

How do you exsplain that i play all my games on 120ping and i have no probs?

Yes it has a tiny tiny little effect, but it only really effects a players skill when its over 300ping.

I know a high ping can turn a pro player into a really really **** layer in lots of games, but with BF2 you have to be above 300ping or if the server is just shit to really really effect your skill/score.

today i have tested the fix for the china sniper weapon on a PB enabled server to make sure it works. i had choosen a high pinger, so i got a ping about 150-180 after i connected.
jumping on obstacles was nearly impossible for me, the faster you move the higher the lag i got.
i do not need to explain why you like to play with your 120er ping :-)

was the servers CPU you where using overloaded, or do you have somone els using your net connection? or are u using a 56k :lol:
