Map Idea - Battle of Kirkuk

Hi!
I'll keep it simple, Insurgency map, with the USMC.
Kirkuk is located in Northern Iraq and it has the biggest oil field in the country (BabaGurGur), I was born there and I was there 5 months ago and my home was about 600m away from the airbase there, so I can make a pretty accurate description of the map, or, if someone could kindly tell me how to make a map for PR, I'll do it
Tack

USMC already has enough maps. US Army needs some I guess. It's nice to post map ideas but TBH they are never put into practice. So best way to get this done is to install BF2 editor and start learning

Hey tack,
You definately have a great opportunity to build great maps using your real-life expertise with the enviroments that are ofen depicted in PR.. That Being said, mapping is tough and often frustrating work! but well worth it!
Try the tutorials in the Modding section of these forums as a start and, as always, you are welcome to post in the suggestions thread about specific ideas/comments/critques of maps already made ***** but be constructive, not destructive, as mappers spend hundreds and hundreds of hours working on them
To be honest, the best thing you could provide to the PR team (if your not going to map yourself) would be to post up some pictures of your home community and share with us some stories that could be used in PR.. if anything I would like to know more about Iraq and its people from a reliable source (rather than from Fox, CNN, or the likes)
just a thought, and welcome to our community!!!!

:O
Thanks for the nice responses, sadly I don't have alot of pictures, but I have a few, I am a really quick learner and I am sure I could do this map ok, the picture in my head shows massive teamplay and fun for all, with the US Army (USMC or w.e) spawning at the airbase and the Insurgents spawning in the Houses
Also, with caches and the Iraqi Police compound is captureable, and I know where these all are, I'v seen them with my eyes, so, I'll see if I can get my hands on Rhinos program and see if I can work with it.

Exodus, your looking at the wrong airfield, that one was bombed out by the US when the war started and has been abandoned since, go alittle south of there you should see another airfield.
And no I don't live there anymore, I am now a immigrant in Sweden from Iraq, but I did take a few pics, like Radars and the base

And i have the authentic Airbase siren from there, taken when I heard a boom and saw a little fire come out of the base, i took my phone outside and waited for them to play the siren.

I thought that was the airfield you were talking about. But Are those big round things the oil containers you were talking about? If not, can you center in on them at maps.google.com and post the link?

Yes, thats the one, I cant center on a place and link it to you guys because I dont know how, but my home is really close to there, you should see a train station, look around and you'll see a square wall structure that has really brown soil, the house beside that is mine
If you could teach me how to link you to the coords, i could show you
