[Vehicle] Up-Armored HMMWV [WIP]

As I had promised a few months back I’ve modeled an Up-Armored HMMWV. Now we can all agree that DICE’s so called “Humvee” is pretty much a joke. The USI Humvee is a good model, but it’s the standard humvee which was used in Desert Storm (1990-1991) and no longer used in conventional operations. I’ve modeled this HMMWV using blueprints and a lot of reference images to get it just right. It’s 89% done and at 6400Tris. At present time I’m not sure to include a hatch with a turret shield or leave it as is and have it equipped with the CROWS. I still need to model the inside, smoke grenades, and a few little details before the model is finished. Anyhow here are a few images of the actual vehicle, various models of it and my model:

Actual Up-Armored M1114 HMMWV used in Iraq and Afghanistan:

And finally my Up-Armored HMMWV:

I wasn't planning to show this to tbe public, but since there has been some confusion over this vehicle I decided to display it.

Yep, I'll be making an Israeli variant as well incase the IDF needs one.

Now why would I need to work on my renders when I have you to do it for me? :D

Just make a quick clay-render to show the details

render scene dialog:

advanced lightning->light tracer

renderer-> choose filter "catmull-rom"

then add a skylight

Nice work you've done there :thumbsup:

Thanks for the info Henke, but I didn't intend to show a WIP so soon, but due to some confusion over this vehicle I decided release something quick.

This is all you get for now until I work on it some more:

I'd rather see in in a realtime viewports with wireframe switched on instead of fancy renders.
