I was just in a map and the brits were wining and we had 5 Civilians in the water right out side of the VCP and you cant kill them / knife them this needs to be fixed please.

Tip: i was able to run them all over with a LAV lol

Why need a fix when your solution was right there?

b/c we cant get in-tell from them and we waste a LAV sometimes and dont get the tickets.

They are doing their job of keeping you tied up, preventing you from going and finding those caches. Just ignore them and move on. Kill them if you, for some reason, can't ignore them.

they need to make it were Civilian within 100m of the VCP can be shot this will keep them off are light polls and out of the water the abuse of this class is not right they should be spotters for snipers spotters for ambushers not oh i can sit on the vcp light poll or in the water out side and theres nothing you can do about it.

civilians cannot capture the vcp

And if they are on the water, they arent at the vcp

At least one squad should focus on VCP defense

Yes they are just spotters, but why are you worried about them? Its not like they have an AK to shoot back at you on the light pole.

Plus they don't have any defenses to defend against the "infidels" trying to capture them. How is standing on a light pole or being in water abuse of this class? Shoot em or move on.

Either change your strategy, or ignore them and find the caches the old fashioned way (looking with your eyes, etc.) Dumbing down the mod for players is not the way to go.

And as Hfett said, they can't capture the VCP.

You've got pretty high walls, not to mention places to take cover. If you are afraid of rocks/get killed by rocks, you are pathetic... just saying...

I just had a kill streak of 3 yesterday while being Civilian Rocks aren't pathetic!

I agree, just leave them. Its not realistic at all to drive into water to kill a few people with stones, its not even realistic to shoot them. And as long as they are in the water they cant hurt you at all, spotting you will be difficult in the next version anyway and from the water they cant see much of the VCP. If you leave them, the insurgents have a few of their people swimming around in that water, totaly useless for the team. Its a waste of civilians wich cant attack you or jump in front of insurgents. Less threats for you.

And if they throw rocks, they leave the water and you can knife them or just take cover.

No, but I've seen 4 Brits chasing 1 civvie

I've seen 3 civies chasing 1 Brit.

I think it's allowed to shoot civilians that are in the water...

Its not always good to "arrest" civis, sometimes, if you are not offensive, they will show you where the caches are!
Best chances are, when they hold medpacks instead of rocks, jumping all the time or shouting follow me!
I even get healed yesterday...

You've got two options:

1. Kill them.
2. Leave them.

it actually says that civilians can only be shot while in a vehicle or run over

IIRC u can shoot em if in water , same as grappel hook
