[Weapon] MP5(s) [WIP]

Thought I'd post them up here if PR could use a new MP5 or some different variants. I just love them and military related games often works in "bigger, bigger, best", but I know that MP5s are used and I love them, so thats why I made them.

I'd personally like to see a new map with only special forces kits vs regular misc army. So far its only regulars vs regulars (or insurgents), a map with 4 different specialized kits and under the cover of night would be nothing shorter than awesome imo.

For that purpose (and for various other reasons, if PR dont need it) I made the MP5SD6, and from that I made some other variants, MP5A4 and MP5 tacitical.

(seen with both folding and solid stock (which is still very much WIP))

I know the rear sight isnt finished and the area where the butt stock meets the main body, so dont bother commenting on it :D A few details on the body is still needed too.

The MP5 tactical is for a little side project I'm working on. A source mod I'm starting up. "realistic zombie shooter" I guess would be the genre, realistic weapon feel, coop multiplayer - survive as long as you can and work together. I hope to integrate the flashlight on the weapon, dark maps and a weapon with flashlight will be awesome, I hope.

Very nice Z-Trooper!! PM a DEV man, tell him to come in here and check these out. I hope we do use these MP5s for something.

And i really like your idea about a SF map. Like SF versus Taliban insurgents in a Afghan fortress. It would be more of a level playing field for the rag heads because at least they dont have to deal with armor or helos or any other conventional army things like that.

EDIT, btw... loving your "ride" (signature), I'm currently working on a CH-53 model myself, which version is it? my favorite transport chopper, so big, chunky and mean looking :P

hehe, well, its the super stallion I'm working on :P

Not very far yet, it is kind of "complex" (not just a few boxes and cylinders) and there is a lot of stuff thats hard to see from the pics I have, but there is no rush :) just a little personal thing I'm doing...

hehe cool, like that chopper, hope u can finish it...would be cool with a static Humvee inside, which can't be used, just to show a little bit of what it can transport^^
maybe the devs could also use it...

Dunno, I had no intentions of using it for a game, but if I just try to keep it low poly it could always be used as a static prop on a airfield map in a section where players cant enter. for instance in a hanger on basrah or in a version where it is being repared for battle dameges or otherwise maintained.

as a static on a wasp-class carrier would be better than nothing, but a flyable version would be great...but needs more time and work to spend on...
anyway keep up modeling, u're doing a great job :)

I would like to have on of those for Hamas. Not the MP5SD3 but MP3A3 or A4 would be nice.

That can be arraged, just let me know which version you want and if you want it with solid or folding stock, and I'll finish that up as the first one. Good thing about the MP5's are that they dont have much on them and are quick to UV and skin.

And this time, if there is enough patience amongst the masses, I will attempt to get it ingame and tweak it myself using the vbf2 A3 as a template, I'd like to actually complete one of the things I've started on for PR and learn stuff once and for all instead of being rushed and someone just "taking" it...

Good work Z-Trooper
Its on its way, both in the original version and as the MP5KPDW version ;) a scoped version is also in the works (the A4).

God the MP5s are easy to work with, not much have to be changed to have 542784295934 different versions of it, and make them look different still.
