I am suprised at the lack of evident OMG at the most recent update, and suffice to say I consider it my duty to fill in the gap so to speak.

OMG! SOFLAMS WORKING! NOWAI!

I now only need to wait for fastroping before I give myself a hernia in anticipation.

This is completely unexpected and looking at all of the changes mentioned in the update I see no reason not to give you a christmas present:

my favourite:

• Working SOFLAM unit (carried by officers and spec ops) that works as a laser target designator.

• Commander/Squad Leader CAS Markers

• You will now need to stop and take a few seconds to aim accurately. If you fire before taking a few seconds, your rounds will deviate wildly

• Officer kit is now avaliable on the spawn screen

• Rallypoints now only require SL+2 to be set.

• • Laser Guided Bomb System integrated, infantry on the ground with a SOFLAM are now required for aircraft to hit ground-based targets.
• All Vehicle .50 calibre machine guns now have ironsites.

• Al Basrah VCP is no longer captureable.

• • Counter-Attack Game Mode:
• Newly modeled M16A4 with ACOG

this is unbelievable!!! we need to spread this around, i posted it on totalbf2 if every 1 knew about it it would get voted to mod easy!!!

From the video it seems like you do not need to have continued painting with the laser to target the JDAM. Can we get confirmation on whether we need continued painting for the jet bombs? A fire and forget system would not be as good as possible, and I know there were major roadblocks(hardcode) in this area.

Jet bomb targets last for 15 seconds-SOFLAM page in the manual

I'm loving this too. DEVs, you guys are awesome. <3 <3 <----I mean that in the straightest possible manner.

Maybe the OMG! fastrope will come as last great improvement in 1.0
