We're wrapping up work on v0.7 [build .708] and we now have what you've all been waiting for - a release date. Project Reality 0.7 will be released to the public tomorrow December 31st 2007. The PR Developers and Black Sand Studios have spent countless hours and have overcome many obstacles to bring you this completely new version, and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!

The video and screen-shots below were put together by [R-DEV]dbzao and provide a further bit of eye-candy to build on the suspense leading up to v0.7's release, enjoy:
Project Reality v0.7 Server Release Information
We shall be running the same license system for server code as we did in v0.6. All server administrators with current licenses will be sent the 0.7 server files as soon as they are available. Those of you hoping to run new PR servers should post in the PR v0.7 server license application thread. You will need access to the private server admin forums first.

Thanks to all of the dedicated server administrators for cooperating with us and helping the PR community grow together. As well, a big thanks goes out to the whole PR community for all the suggestions, videos, and war stories which have been a great inspiration for the whole PR Dev team!
Stay tuned for the Project Reality v0.7 Client Release, which more than a few of us will undoubtedly be celebrating with to mark the start of the new year!

Sorry to all those who posted in [R-DEV]E-Gors news post about this, since reds are the only ones who can do frontpage news posts it got messed up somehow when I was fixing it, and so those posts were destroyed apologies to those first few excited posters and those who posted firework videos from youtube.
