Okay I am currently DLing from the 4players because the US one doesnt work. Do I DL the levels and the core or what? Also what do I do with my version of .6 so i just delete it?

Dam we need 0.6?! I just unistalled 0.6 and installed 0.7 and thiers no Shortcut to run even thought it asked me "do you want to create Shortcut to desktop". Wtf is going on!

Actually, you were supposed to uninstall v0.6. If you asked it to make a shortcut, it did.

ok. here's a brief list:

1) Remove .6
2) Download and install core.
3) Download and install levels
4) Kick some ***.


Some of the sites are corrupted, try around to find one that works

your kinding right 0.6 0.7 over it you need to uninstall 0.6 LOL

Well I dont see any shortcut and unable to run the game. I tried to make my own shortcut :

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +widescreen 1 +szx 1440 +szy 900

But it just runs Vanila Bf2 ?

Ow wait never mind I think I downloaded the wrong file.

Well, the hard way would be to open vBF2, logg in, go to Community -> Custom Games -> Project Reality.

you probably either had a corrupt download or installed it wrong, make sure you deleted your 0.6 and installed into the right place.

im getting both from the U.S. site now. and i heard you should delete anything left in the bf2/mods folder after .6 uninstall. i'll find out in 51 min. and i'll read the manual again, too.

Why are the maps separate? Is it to cut own the amount needs to be downloaded for and installed on servers? Or do they need them too? I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason but I can't think of what it might be...

I went to the Dru net link and it looks like I'm only DLing the map pack....whats that about

Jesus Christ, people, USE THE TORRENTS! It's almost 2008 in most of the world, learn how to use torrent programs.
