ok before you flame me i am doing this thread for my clan mates who are all asking each other the qustion

do we have to uninstall 0.61 and is it safe to do so after installing .7?

Instead of asking this in a new thread I'll post this here.

I've downloaded FH2 but haven't played since because I was waiting for .7, I've heard it was buggy with PR .6, will it cause problems with .7 ?

To answer your question, yes .6 needs to be uninstalled completely. As stated before, this is a FULL download, not a patch.

So yeah, delete it all.

Yes you have to uninstal 0.61 before instaling 0.7

as far as the manual goes. yes you need to uninstall the whole 0.6 before installing 0.7.

raniak, you need to try it out man. no one knows yet.

Well, I hope it will work fine, but I will uninstall FH2 just in case. Worst case scenario I'll have to re-install BF2...

The thing is far as i know that if you open FH2 and then swap to PR it keeps the shaders from FH2 so you get that ultra suppression and stuff. Just exit and start up PR normally with the desktop icon and you'll be fine. It hasn't given me any trouble.

Yeah,I asked around at the FH2 forums and they said to start and exit FH2 normally to correct it

There was another bug with FH2, fixable by setting the controls to default i think.
