Title says it all. I was wondering maybe it should be a little thiner.

Anyone think so too?

No but thats not the issue right now. I noticed this when i first played(LAN) and then i went on the internet and compared some pictures. The main thing i think that makes it look big is the size of the players hand compared to the M16.


BTW in case i named it wrong im talking about the part around the barrel that the shooter would put his hand on when holding the rifle.

Why are you always bitching about everything? Try to do something by yourself and you'll see it ain't that easy

I don't think the handguard is too thick, if anything it's too thin.

Wow guys chill out at leat he is pointing out what flaws are in this game. It still is up to the devs whether fix it or not.

The only thing I don't like about it is the texture flipped writing that says born to kill backwards on one side.

Thanks to the guys who responded well. And i still dont know. I feel like the "players hand" cant even wrap around it fully(still a sexy model).

Yes, this is the very first thing I thought when I picked it up from some guy.

At first it looked to thick, but i found some pics on goolge and its the right size

Only thing about the M16 I wish is some attachments, mabye a Front grip, or a PEQ box, otherwise those RIS/RAS rails are uselss, except the dust covers, but nontheless its still a great addition.

The handguard looks fine to me. If anything, the carry handle looks a bit too thick.

Hmmm...ok then i will take you guys word for it. Maybe im just to used to the crappy M16A2 model

I think you guys are used to seeing normal M16 handguards, and not the RIS with rail panels. They're pretty beefy.
