Insurgents in Counter-Attack mode?

Yay? Nay?

They're not suited to AAS, but how about a Counter-Attack mode?

Could go either way, with them as offensive or defensive.

no. i dont think the insurgents are in the place to counter attack conventional enemy positions with large numbers. + lack of armor would get the annihilated.

Insurgents would suit some kind of "ambush" game mode where they got 5 minutes to set up and then the coalition had to clear basrahof weapons caches with the added half hour that actually getting into the city would bring

2 landmines, an SVD and an PKM could probably hold an entrance for a while =)

The counterattack of AL Basrah, not insurgents.. MEC can attack, whit insurgents weapons..

also the soldiers like Chechens can attack Russian Positions

The PR whit canda, Israel, Russia, Poland.. those mods... really good, will be added for PRM :-D :roll:

If Russians will be added to PRM, include a map of Rebeles Counterattacking Russian positions ;)

I think the insurgents could definitely do a CA map. All flags inside a city, either GB or the US has to attack into the city. All insurgents have to do is hold the city flags, in order to stop bleed coalition force has to cap a flag or two. Maybe this could be fallujah?

IMO Basrah would work well in Counter-Attack mode. With the same or at least similar CP layout like it was in 0.5 but once the CP is taken by GB insurgents can't get it back. GB should start with 1 Challenger, 1 Apache, 2 Scimitars, 2 Warriors and 1 Merlin. Once an asset is destroyed it doesn't spawn again. Entering the city as GB is pretty damn hard even tho you're fighting "just" a bunch of poor little insurgents with insanely inaccurate AK's and a few RPGs.

Insurgents attacking coalition forces is IMo a bad idea. It may sound interesting in theory but put it into practice and there will be many people crying about how often they die as insurgents and how unbalanced the whole thing is.
