Respawning time: 120

"You were killed. Spawning time: 120"

Stuck at 120...forever.
First few times I saw this, I finally disconnected.
Nothing seemed to work... I was stuck.

Then I accidently found the problem. I changed kit. Just from rifle to medic and...whoops...I spawned directly... As a medic... Didnt want that thow.

This bug seem to have something to do with the bug when you cant move fast. You sort of come into slow motion, until you change weapon (note: not kit here)

I also noticed that the "You selected wrong kit" in read was shown as I found the way out of the locked condition.

wired that usually only should happen if you choose an invalid kit, i.e. you try to spawn with officers kit but are not the SL. Are you sure you didn't select the officers kit?

Switch to another kit, problem solved.

I had this when I was just trying to spawn with an engineer kit.... So yeah, I then switched to another kit in the menu, timer was back to normal then. However, then I clicked Engineer kit again, and timers was still normal. So this feels more like a bug to me.

I guess even a simple engineer kit is something that is limited to spawn with? Kind of odd, since it is the least used default kit IMO. Spawn timer was also incredibly huge too:

Did I choose the officers kit? I was choosing a riflemans kit, went back up in a commanders truck, was driven straight into a armed car im Al Basrah, and got killed. "You where killed. Spawning time: 120"
I did not even think about any kit... Finally I moved the kit from rifleman to medic... And spawned. As I said, with a non wanted kit in that situation.

One thing could have happened thow, that may explain the bug.
I may have created a squad while travelling with the guy who drove the truck. Creating a squad, makes me squadleader. With the wrong kit.

But the bug is that everything gets stuck. It should swith to officers kit by itself I think:

Back in base, I am a squadleader. A groupcommander, as it is named in the swedish army. Normally I went for an extra education, and got some special stuff, being a group commander. That should be an automated task, I think.

What happens if squadleader change kit during battle?

Previously a SL had to get the OK in the base, by the RP or bunker etc.
Now theres a selectable kit for him instead, makin stuff easier. But this is a glitch in that *making easier*-project, I think.

Dont you?

You can switch back after changing to another kit, then spawn in. Works for me.

But the buggy part I had was when I was still 'dead', and had the unusable kit selected (engineer)... if I went and chose Rifleman for example, the respawn timer would be back to normal at that point. However, while still waiting to respawn, I could go back and choose the engineer kit and the timer was still counting down like normal. So why was it saying I couldn't respawn in the first place?

I did this several times on Kashan, and Sunset City. Felt like a buggy workaround or something.

Doesnt just clicking on the kit again work too? If you're engineer, have the bug and still want to be engi, just click on your kit again. Worth the try.

This is a known bug, and it has been stated before by the DEVs that they're not fully satisfied with the current system, and are working on one where you can't get the 6000 seconds spawntime. Locking for aforementioned reasons.
