Was on Basrah the other day with a few clan mates, and came up with the idea of giving the Insurgency a van - type vehicle with some welded / bolted on steel plates for protection, and a MG on top.

This would make it a psuedo APC type unit -- 8 seats (engine max) and more HP / protection than the technical (which should only have 3 seats tbh).

EDIT: Not a vodnik.

that would be nice, i think. provides more armor than that white truck, which tbh is a rolling death trap.

would add a nice new element to the insurgents, as its something that could possibly happen

As long we are on the subject of cars, would it be possible to allow the driver to crouch while driving. think about it if your driving a truck, car rover and you get ambushed, its not that hard for some one to shoot the driver, and allowing driver to take cover (note driver cant see ahead of him just up when taking cover) and passengers would help players get away using the vehicles armor.

but, thinking about driving about Al Basrah in a van that resembles the A-Team van brings a smile to my face.

It should have sliding doors on the side - perfect for drivebys

lulz at the thought of the A-team van rolling up Basrah main street to slide open its doors and do a drive by on a brit checkpoint
